Some Nougat Features Will Likely Be Missing

While there's a lot to be excited about there's also one potential disappointment.

Nothing is confirmed but if the Samsung Galaxy S6 Nougat manual is correct, the update might not be on par with the Samsung Galaxy S7's. 

Missing from the manual are a few camera features including Wide self-portrait with motion (this is a motion panorama feature) and a few other camera modes including Food, Hyperlapse, and Selfie flash.

On top of that, the Galaxy S6 Nougat update is apparently missing Always On Display, and Video Enhancer mode.

Temper your expectations. This is an old device and newer devices typically get the standout versions of Android software.
