As you can see, the Galaxy S7 is still pretty good. In fact, it's the base in which Samsung built the Galaxy S8 and then the Galaxy S9. These phones are all an evolution of the S6 and S7.

However, with the Galaxy S9 you're getting a bigger more beautiful screen, way more power under the hood, and two years worth of advancements. So while the battery is the same size, the S9 will surely last longer, especially considering how old your S7 is these days.

Everything about the Galaxy S9 is better. Every single spec received an upgrade in some form. You'll also get new features like the variable aperture camera, or the Always-On display. Additionally, we're hearing the S9 will have dual speakers, for the first time, which is nice.

After two years of upgrades and advancements, there's no competition here. You'll want to get a Galaxy S9 or S9+.
