How Much it Costs To Buy Your Way to 100 in Fortnite Season 4

To get to level 100 in Fortnite Season 4 today you will need to spend $100 to $141 if you want to unlock all seven new Fortnite season 4 skins and all the other rewards without playing for 75 to 150 hours. This is how it breaks down.

If you want to buy your way to level 100, you’ll skip the 950 V-Bucks Battle Pass and go straight to the 2,880 V-Bucks Battle Bundle. This unlocks your next 25 levels immediately, which includes 3 skins and plenty of other rewards. At this point you’ve spent $28.80, but you had to buy more V-Bucks, so you’re looking at an initial outlay of $25 to $59.99 to convert cash into V-Bucks. You’re better off buying more V-Bucks all at once if you want to hit level 100 today.

If you bought the Season 3 Battle Pass you also get 5 levels unlocked in Season 4 automatically, so there are only 70 levels to go. With that in mind you can actually save by buying the 10,000 V-Bucks bundle for $99.99 which is enough to buy the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Bundle, and 70 levels which will unlock all the rewards including 1,500 in free V-Bucks.  So $99.99 is the cheapest way to hit level 100 in Season 4 without playing.

For gamers who are new, you need to buy the Battle Bundle for 2,880 and then buy 75 levels at 150 V-Bucks a level. That’s a total of 14,130 V-Bucks. If you buy the smaller V-bucks packs you will spend almost $140 on leveling up, but you can still save and level up for $99.99 if you buy the biggest bundle of V-Bucks. With 13,500 V-Bucks you can buy your way up to almost level 100, and since you’ll unlock 1,500 V-bucks as you go in rewards you’ll hit level 100 with 870 V-Bucks left to spend on other skins.

Ultimately most players will not spend $99 to $141 to hit level 100 in Fortnite Season 4 on day one, but it’s an option for those with big bank accounts. Epic made $223 million on Fortnite Battle Royale in March, so there is a very good chance someone out there is spending this cash to level up faster in Fortnite Battle Royale.

5 Reasons to Buy Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass, 3 Reasons To Wait

Buy Now For the Best Value

Epic continues to make the Battle Pass a bigger and bigger reward system for players. While the loot is all cosmetic, they definitely reward paying players with more items and things to do in the game.

The Battle Pass offers 75 to 150 hours of playtime to unlock all of the content with 100 tiers in the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass. This time around you get approximately 25,000 V-Bucks worth of items when you complete the Battle Pass.

One thing we love about the Battle Pass is that the rewards are retroactive, so if you buy the Battle Pass after 1 month, you get all the tiers you already unlocked. That said, there is a benefit to buying the new Battle Pass as soon as possible if you are motivated like we are.

When you start Fortnite Season 4 with the Battle Pass you will be able to earn XP boosts that will help you level up faster and unlock the rewards and new challenges faster. Ultimately you get more value if you start Season 4 with the Battle Pass than if you buy it halfway through, even though you get the same rewards.
