iOS 8.4 Home Sharing

Apple removed Home Sharing from iOS 8.4, leaving some users in a lurch without an option to easily share music from a home computer to the iPhone or iPad while on the same network. 

This feature is most used by people with large music collections that cannot fit on the iPhone or iPad. There is no Home Sharing option on iOS 8.4, but it is coming back. 

Eddy Cue, Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services confirmed on Twitter that, "We are working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9." This means a long wait as the iOS 9 release date is not slated to arrive until fall.
