Set an Alarm

If you're dead set on buying a specific model, you might want to set an alarm, just to be safe. 

If you plan to go to sleep before pre-orders start you'll want to set an alarm, maybe even a couple of alarms, to make sure you're awake and functional before pre-orders open up. 

Setting an alarm on the iPhone is easy. Pull up Control Center, tap on the Clock, and set an alarm for 4AM-4:30AM Pacific. This will give you plenty of time to get ready.
