Look Into the iPhone SE

Before you commit to waiting for the "iPhone SE 2", make sure you look into the original iPhone SE, especially if you don't want a huge display.

Apple's iPhone SE is getting older, but that doesn't mean it's getting worse. In fact, we'd argue that it's gotten better.

Not only is the iPhone SE much cheaper than it once was, it's still running Apple's iOS software with ease. We've had an excellent experience on the latest version of iOS 13 and the device should only improve once Apple rolls out its iOS 13.4.5 update.

Apple's started to phase out other small-screen iPhones like the iPhone 5s, but the iPhone SE will continue to get regular software upgrades throughout 2020.

There's also a a chance it gets upgraded to iOS 14 later this year. Apple typically provides four to five years of software support before pulling the plug.

The iPhone SE is setup well for the future and it's still a fairly solid choice in 2020. Make sure you go hands-on with it before a new model arrives, especially if you think you might want a smaller display.
