LG V30: 6 Reasons to Wait & 4 Reasons Not to

Improved Design & Great Sound

A highlight feature of the LG V10 and V20 is the Quad DAC for audiophiles. This ensures the phone has better sound than almost anything on the market. DAC stands for digital to audio converter, and having a dedicated Quad DAC makes a big difference. Especially for those that cherish sound quality. If you're an audiophile, wait for the V30.

While the LG V10 and 20 were great phones, the design was somewhat lacking. The original looked terrible but had so many features that fans quickly adopted it and loved the phone.

Everything is different this time. The only potential downside to the new design is the battery won't be removable. At least we don't think it will be. As a result, the phone will have an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating and wireless charging. Expect the design to look similar to the LG G6, which many love, only better. Made entirely out of glass and metal with a big gorgeous screen taking center stage. It won't be as industrial as past V phones, that's for sure.

As an added bonus, this beautiful screen is likely the same display we'll see in the Google Pixel XL 2 later this year.
