We live in a world where companies like to nickel and dime you once you spend the $50+ on a copy of the game. There will be microtransactions in Borderlands 3, but there's no pay-to-win nonsense. We don't know how it'll all work yet, but Gearbox says the game's microtransactions will be limited to cosmetic items. No loot boxes. So if you love customizing your character, you'll be able to buy some unique items to help you standout amongst the pack. Beyond that, it looks like the only items Gearbox will sell is post-launch content like DLC. | |||||||||||
