New Apple TV App

Apple delivers a new Apple TV app with iOS 12.3 that includes a ton of new features on your iPhone and that will sync across to your iPad and your Apple TV. If you consume most of your movies and TV on an iOS or tvOS device, this is going to be a major update. 

You get access to a new design as well as better curated collections and recommendations based on what you watch and like. You can also now start using Apple TV channels to get subscriptions to HBO, Showtime, Starz and other services in the app so you can stream them or download to watch offline. 

If you subscribe to Apple TV Channels with this app you can share that subscription with up to six members of your household using the family sharing feature built into iOS. 

There is a new kids section that will help you find kid friendly content, but it isn't on the same level as Amazon FreeTime Unlimited. It's still a nice touch for families. 

Another new feature is that the app will identify Apple Tvs or AirPlay 2 TVs nearby that you may want to connect to in order to watch a show or movie on.
