Release Date & Price

Last but not least, is the release date and price. And sadly, Google's phones aren't budget friendly like they were a few years ago.

Google's new Pixel 2 smartphones hit shelves on October 19th. You can get it from the Google Store, Best Buy, or Verizon in the United States. The Pixel 2 XL with 64GB of storage is $849, and the 128GB model is $949. It's an expensive smartphone.

You probably paid $499 or $549 for the Nexus 6P. So yes, the new Pixel 2 XL is nearly double the price.

What potential buyers need to decide is if everything the Pixel 2 XL has to offer is worth that price. You'll enjoy a bigger screen, faster performance, a smaller phone that's easier to use, and one of the best camera experiences on the market.

Personally, the camera, battery life, and future software updates are more than enough that I made the switch, and most would recommend you do the same. Now that you know what makes the new Pixel 2 XL special, decide if you can afford it and buy one today. Here are the latest Pixel 2 and 2 XL deals.

After two years with the 6p i can confidently say : 1. no, battery doesn’t show sign of wear and holds up for extended use.
    2. The 6p is made with much better quality of production and materials, which makes it more durable.
    3. Pixel 2 xl got a bigger screen and that’s it, it doean’t look better and it is much more prone for shattering – lg really messed up this time.
    3. Google first announced the pixel 2 will come with a snapdragon 836 proccessor, which turned out to be a lie. Major downside for google and for me a reason not to buy their products.
    4. Back in the time up until nexus 5, google made sure the nexus will be the most powerful phone in the market for a fair price. today it’s just another phone, that costs like an iphone but shares the quality of a nockoff chinese galaxy s3.

    Bottom line
You messed up google, you really messed up. And i’m looking at you too LG.
