Don't Install If You Don't Have a Spare Apple Watch

The best way to try the watchOS 5 beta is to install it on a spare Apple Watch. That allows you to test out the cool new features, but still set the watch aside if you run into issues without giving up on your Apple Watch for a few months. 

The catch here is that watchOS 5 isn't available for the first generation Apple Watch. That means you will not be able to try it on a spare Apple Watch if you hung onto your series 0, when you upgraded to the Apple Watch 2 or Apple Watch 3. 

Look on eBay or Craigslist for a used Apple Watch if you really want to try these features. It's the safest and easiest way for you to try the beta without locking yourself in for several months.
