Another reason you'll want to buy Samsung's Galaxy Chromebook is that it'll likely be faster and more powerful than almost any other Chromebook on the market. Typically, these Chrome OS laptops run MediaTek processors or something like a cheap and slow Intel chip meant to keep the price down.
That's not the case here. Samsung's Chromebook has the latest Intel 10th Generation processors in several different configurations. The main model comes with a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM, which is plenty powerful for a Chromebook. They did suggest more options and even i7 variants would be available, with a 1TB storage choice, but we're not sure if that's still coming. Either way, a Core i5 with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD hard drive should perform flawlessly. The Galaxy Chromebook also comes with the latest WiFi 6, a 256GB SSD, automatic software updates for 6-years, and a built-in fingerprint scanner for better performance and security.
