Don't Buy If You Don't Want an Early Gen Product

This isn't the first all-in-one VR headset and it definitely feels like one of the most polished options I've used, but it is still very close to being a first generation option. 

While I find that there are plenty of games to get started I am looking at the future releases more than with a traditional console. It feels like when the Xbox One or PS4 first came out and there were enough titles, but the games a few months out looked way more promising. 

Some of the big games on PCVR are not on the Oculus Quest yet and it isn't clear if every big title can or will make it to the headset. While this newer processor handles the current games I'm interested to see if graphics improve over time like with consoles or if we run into a power wall where I'll need to buy a new headset. 

This wasn't enough of a reason to stop me from buying the Quest and I don't regret choosing now as the time to buy one, but it may not be the right time for you.
