If you're looking for something new, wait for the new AirPods 3 to arrive. The leaks show off a wider case with a new look for the actual AirPods that are also larger. 

The latest report indicates Apple is working on new color options, with up to eight colors possible. All signs do point to the design changes of AirPods Pro focusing on building in the new features and options than for style. 

The good news is that this case looks like it could be smaller than the PowerBeats Pro case, which is more challenging to pocket than the AirPods case. 

This larger case looks to support wireless charging and the odds are good that is a standard feature on the Pro model.
