7 Reasons to Wait for the OnePlus 6T & 3 Reasons Not To

Don't Wait for Major Changes

While this last reason might contradict some of the others, it's only because we don't know quite what to expect yet. 

The OnePlus 6T will be a good phone with a lot to like, and it'll have at least a few big changes over the 6 from earlier this year. They need to offer enough to make it a viable upgrade for potential buyers, and compete with upcoming phones at the same time. 

However, don't wait if you're expecting major changes throughout. The photos we're using here are concept images, or fan-made renders. The OnePlus 6T won't have five massive upgrades. Maybe one or two, but not a bunch. They'll save that for the 7 in 2019. 

So while it would be awesome if this phone ditched the notch for a bezel-free screen, added two front-facing cameras to a special pop-up lens, or added a bunch of crazy stuff, that's not feasible. 

Basically, you need to temper your expectations a little bit and keep that in mind while you wait. We have no doubt the OnePlus 6T will be the best price/performance phone of 2018, and one of the first with a fingerprint scanner inside the glass, but the company will keep a few surprises for next year. Just remember that.
