Don't Wait If You Want a Headphone Jack

OnePlus recently confirmed to TechRadar that the all-new OnePlus 6T will NOT have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Yeah, we know, never settle. Right?

The company isn't "settling" and removing the headphone jack now makes a lot of sense. They're not just getting rid of it for no reason. Ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack gave OnePlus more room to add a fingerprint scanner inside the screen, under the glass. It also shaved a few mm of space inside the phone to add a second battery pack. As a result, we're hearing the company will add two 1,870 mAh or similar batteries to the OnePlus 6T. 

This will deliver the best battery life of any OnePlus phone, world-class features like an in-display fingerprint scanner, and help the phone be more water-resistant. 

It's a win-win. They didn't just get rid of it for no reason like Apple and Google did. 

However, if you must have a headphone jack, don't wait for the OP6T because it won't have one.
