7 Reasons to Wait for the OnePlus 6T & 3 Reasons Not To

Wait for an Improved Camera Experience

It's no secret that while OnePlus phones deliver a great experience, the camera is usually a little behind the Samsung, Google, or Apple competition. They have to cut corners somewhere to keep the price lower than everyone else. Often times the camera is good, or even great, it's just not the "best". 

And that's perfectly fine with almost everyone that buys a OnePlus phone for 40-50% cheaper than an iPhone X or Galaxy S9. 

The OnePlus 6 has two powerful cameras on the back and it takes great photos. We're expecting the OnePlus 6T to deliver more of the same, or potentially three cameras now that they're putting the fingerprint scanner under the screen. Originally rumors everywhere said three cameras, but now as the release nears we're hearing it'll only have two. Offering one 16MP camera and potentially a 12MP variable aperture second lens. That or a 20MP second camera. That way it'll take good photos, zoom in with a telephoto lens, and do all the neat effects everyone enjoys. 

Even if OnePlus sticks to dual cameras in 2018, they know the camera experience is the last thing they need to improve, and they'll do exactly that. So, wait for the OnePlus 6T to get a great phone with a great camera at an affordable price.
