Are you looking to buy your first Apple Watch? Are you looking to upgrade from the first generation Apple Watch? If you answered yes to either of those questions and you can't or won't wait 10 months to get the a newer model you shouldn't wait for the Apple Watch 4 release date. 

The Apple Watch 3 is a great value. It is water resistant, has GPS and there is an LTE option if you want to be able to leave your iPhone at home. We've already seen massive Apple Watch 3 deals and expect to see many more in the run up to Christmas and onward through early 2018. 

With nearly a year to wait, if you don't have a smartwatch at all, it makes sense to buy one now and then make an upgrade decision again in late 2018. It's still a very long wait to get your new Apple Watch if you don't have anything to use.
