Wait For An Even Bigger Display

Wait For An Even Bigger Display

It's no secret that screens are getting bigger and better every year. And you're probably thinking, how can it get bigger than the Mate 20 Pro? Well, it can.

In 2018 the P20 and P20 Pro delivered 5.8 and 6.1-inch screens. However, every major Huawei phone the rest of the year topped those with even bigger, more beautiful screens. In fact, the Mate 20 had a 6.6-inch screen, and the Mate 20 Pro had a 6.3-inch curved bezel-free display.

See the trend? Bigger, better, curved, notches, in-display scanners, etc.

Look for Huawei to shrink the notch almost completely, and use what we're calling a water-drop notch for the front camera. Not a cut-hole like Samsung. That way the front is almost 100% screen.

  • Huawei P30 Pro - 6.6-inch curved OLED display

Based on a few different images and case leaks we've seen, we know the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro screens will be bigger than last year, and with smaller bezels.

Crazily, they managed to pack a 32MP camera in that tiny notch on the Pro, too.
