6 Reasons to Wait for the Huawei P30 & 4 Reasons Not to

Wait for Crazy Cameras and 10x Zoom

As we all know, Huawei is leading the market when it comes to multiple cameras in smartphones. And while we've seen several triple camera setups, the next frontier is a Quad Cameras or crazy telephoto zooms. And lucky for you, it looks like Huawei did both -- four cameras and a 10x zoom. 

The Huawei P30 features super capable cameras, and a 5x zoom. Only the more expensive Pro model will get 10x zoom. Still, here's what we're hearing will complete the camera package and take on the iPhone 11 and Galaxy S10. 

• Huawei P30 Cameras - 40 Megapixel, 20 MP, 8 MP (Optical image stabilization, 4k, 5x telephoto zoom, etc)
• Huawei P30 Pro Cameras - 40 Megapixel, 20 MP, 8 MP (Optical image stabilization, 4k, 10x telephoto zoom, 4th ToF camera sensor, etc)

Technically, these Leica-powered phones should take amazing photos. Some of the marketing material found by MySmartPrice mentions a "Quad Lecia Camera System" for the P30, but we're not seeing that in leaks. However, that odd circle on the P30 Pro under the flash is likely a 4th rear camera, but a Time of Flight camera for improved effects and processing. 

Either way, the Huawei P30 series will have a great camera, and it's worth waiting for that alone. Just know that the Pro will be pricey.
