Don't Wait If You Hate the Notch

If you hate the notch LG put in the screen on the G7, V40 and likely the G8, don't wait for the LG V50. 

Almost every Android manufacturer (except for a few) added a big notch to the screen in 2018. This is to "answer" Apple's iPhone Xs with its "beautiful" edge-to-edge display. Personally, the notch is ridiculous.  

We were hopeful that the LG V50 would ditch the big notch for some sort of tiny tear-drop notch in the middle, a cutout in the screen, or any other design like multiple manufacturers. Instead, it looks like LG focused on other areas and will leave the screen the same. 

Meaning a big 6.4 or 6.5-inch OLED screen with a big notch at the top. Hey, at least you can hide it with software.
