Earlier this summer T-Mobile released the budget-friendly REVVL smartphone. Giving potential buyers one more choice when it comes to finding a cheap Android smartphone. If you wanted something bigger and better though, consider the all-new T-Mobile REVVL Plus. Here’s what you need to know about this $200 smartphone.
If you can’t afford the latest Galaxy S8 or iPhone X, the REVVL is T-Mobile’s answer. With a big 6-inch HD display, dual rear cameras, and a wallet-friendly price tag.
These days carriers have expensive high-end smartphones or super cheap devices that are missing important features or deliver a poor experience. T-Mobile’s REVVL Plus lands somewhere in the middle, with enough power and features to satisfy most users needs.
While the T-Mobile REVVL won’t win any awards for the design, and it doesn’t have an edge-to-edge display, you’ll get just about everything else that more expensive phones have to offer. Here’s everything you need to know about the T-Mobile REVVL Plus, how much it costs, and when you can get one.
T-Mobile REVVL Plus Release Date
Check out the hands-on video above, which gives you a good look at the REVVL Plus and everything it has to offer. If that’s something you’re interested in, you can get it right now with JUMP on Demand. T-Mobile’s yearly upgrade program.
From what we’re seeing the new T-Mobile REVVL Plus is available starting today for JUMP members. Then, for everyone else, it’s available online and in stores starting November 17th.
T-Mobile REVVL Plus Specs & Features
Cheap Android smartphones are a dime a dozen, and most of them are missing the features you probably want. Like a big HD display, a good camera experience, or enough battery to last all day. That’s what makes the REVVL an exciting option, as it has all of that and then some.
Here are all the details for those considering T-Mobile’s latest budget smartphone.
T-Mobile REVVL Plus Specs
- 6-inch 1080p FHD IPS Display
- 8-core Snapdragon Processor with 2GB of RAM
- 32GB of storage and microSD support for expansion
- Android 7.0 Nougat
- Dual 13 and 5 Megapixel Rear Camera setup, HDR mode, more
- 8MP front-facing selfie camera
- Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
- 3,380 mAh battery with a MicroUSB port
- 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, more
Most cheap Android smartphones skimp out on the display or don’t deliver a good camera experience. With the REVVL you still get a full 1080p HD screen and dual cameras like the iPhone X or Galaxy Note 8. T-Mobile’s listing doesn’t specify if this phone has fast charging, or what processor is inside. Either way, on paper it’s pretty good when you consider some of the other cheap phone competition.
Until we get the phone in our hands we can’t comment on if the camera is any good, or how well the zoom features work. Not to mention the screen or if 2GB of RAM is enough for smooth performance in your favorite apps and games.
T-Mobile REVVL Plus Price
In case you missed it at the beginning, this is one cheap Android smartphone. The T-Mobile REVVL Plus delivers a big 6-inch 1080p HD display, dual rear cameras, and a nearly stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat all for just $200.
The phone is only $9 a month for 18 months with JUMP on Demand. Or, you can lease it for $8 down and $8/month for 24 months on an Equipment Installment Plan. Additionally, you can buy it outright for the low price of only $200. When you compare that to other budget phones, it’s a pretty good deal.
Again, the T-Mobile REVVL Plus is just $200 and is available in stores and online starting November 17th. While you’re here, check out our roundup of the best Android phones under $300, or the best Android phones under $100 if you’re really on a budget.
