When it is time to upgrade your TV, you don’t want to wait for a delivery, you want to pick it up and start watching as soon as you get home. This is especially important if you’re grabbing a Super Bowl TV deal and planning to watch the Super Bowl this weekend.

This quick guide from Nissan will help you figure out how big of a TV you can fit in your car, SUV or Truck.

This is especially important if you are looking at a 55-inch or larger TV, as you will need a lot of cargo room. It is also very important to transport your new 4K TV upright. If you lay a large TV down to fit it into your car or truck you risk damaging it, and the retailer may not exchange it.

If you don’t have a Nissan Titan or a Rogue in your driveway, you can use this guide to compare to your SUV or crossover. If you have a sedan, you should borrow something bigger and not lay the TV down flat.

You can check out the video below for more details on what size of TV you can fit in a car, SUV or crossover.

Plan on keeping the TV upright for the trip and securing it with tie downs or bungie cords to make sure it doesn’t fall or shift during transport.

What a great idea for an article! I struggled to Tetris a television into my trunk on Christmas Eve one year and it sucked.
