When is the Xbox E3 2017 Media Briefing?
Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2017 Media Briefing begins at 2 PM Pacific Standard Time on June 11th. That’s 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. According to Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg, the briefing will last 90 minutes.
How to Watch the Xbox E3 2017 Media Briefing
Video streaming services and Xbox Live will carry a livestream of Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2017 Media Briefing. Xbox profiles on Twitch and YouTube will have livestreaming footage. Microsoft’s new Mixer video game streaming service will broadcast the briefing to Xbox One owners in HD and 4K.
Cable channel Spike TV isn’t listed on Microsoft’s Xbox E3 page, and a check of its schedule reveals it has no plans to broadcast any press events from this year’s show.

The highlight of the Xbox E3 2017 Media Briefing will be new the Xbox Scorpio. We know that because invitations sent to the press include a picture of the console’s processor and motherboard. Reports from EuroGamer confirm that Xbox Scorpio is the most powerful video game console ever made.

There are things we don’t yet know about Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft has not shown what Xbox Scorpio looks like. The Xbox Scorpio price and release date remain unknown too. Besides improved graphics for gaming, Microsoft hasn’t revealed any exclusive features for the console.
Xbox E3 2017 Predictions: Games
To date, Microsoft hasn’t said which titles will have upgraded visuals for Xbox Scorpio. Look for those to finally get revealed. The company can’t sell an expensive new console without some titles to showcase what it can do. Developers aren’t allowed to make a game exclusively for Xbox Scorpio, so these games will have Xbox One and Xbox One S versions too.

We believe that three exclusive titles could get new teasers. Crackdown 3 arrives sometime in 2017, according to Microsoft. Sea of Thieves, an online pirate simulation, should launch within the year. Microsoft will want to highlight these games. Rumors indicate a new Forza game will support Xbox Scorpio’s upgraded graphics. If that’s true, we’ll see it at the show too. A new Forza game comes to Xbox ever year. The company doesn’t go a year without showcasing Xbox games developed by small studios through its ID@Xbox program.

Don’t expect new Gears of War titles at the show. Gears of War 4 just arrived last year. A new Halo game won’t be shown at the event either, 343 Industries has confirmed. Microsoft canceled Scalebound, another Xbox exclusive game, in January. It won’t be at the show either.
