Moto G4 (2016)

Motorola's most popular smartphone ever arrived in 2013, and was the Moto G. This phone is still the most successful Motorola smartphone to date. It was only $179, and offered an excellent Android experience everyone could afford. The last two years they've continued that trend and in 2016 the new Moto G4 could be their best work yet.

The 2015 Moto G was on this list for a long time, but now the G4 tops it. Coming in a regular G4 option and a G4 Plus with a fingerprint scanner, bigger 5.5-inch display and more all for a wallet friendly price.

The Moto G4 has a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, the same wide selection of customization, an 8-core processor with 2-3GB of RAM, plenty of storage and a micro-SD card, an improved 13 megapixel camera, front flash, and the G4 Plus even has a front-facing fingerprint scanner.

Motorola hasn't announced pricing yet, but based on what we're seeing in India these phones should retail for $179 and $199, or top out around $229 like previous generations. Making it one of the best price/performance phones. The Moto G4 is coming this summer, and most are expecting an early July release date.
