As for the new build's performance, we've been keeping a close eye on a few key areas since we completed the installation: Battery life, connectivity, performance issues, and UI speed.

We've spent a little more than a week with the Nexus 5X Android 7.0 update and battery life appears to be holding up. The device is holding an excellent charge.

We haven't run into any problems with connectivity. We've tested the Nexus 5X and its new Nougat build with several ISPs, routers and Bluetooth devices. Our connections remain strong.

We haven't experienced any random reboots or lockups/crashes and we haven't seen any UI lag when navigating around the new OS. The Nexus 5X is still extremely fast with the new Android 7.0. Nougat build on board.

So far, the November Nexus 5X Android 7.0 Nougat build is performing well. We recommend it for most users.
