Fast Charging & Wireless Charging

Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 3,300 mAh battery. And while that's smaller than the 3,500 mAh option in the Note 7, it's a safe battery.

Some might be worried that 3,300 mAh might not be enough for a big 6.3-inch screen, but thankfully there are several ways to recharge it quickly. For one, the Note 8 features fast wireless charging. Recharge from 0-50% in just 20 minutes, or 0-100 in around 80 minutes using the included "Adaptive fast charger" that comes in the box. The Galaxy Note 8 only uses Quick Charge 2.0, for what it's worth.

Additionally, like other Samsung phones, the Note 8 features Fast Wireless Charging too. Meaning you can get a wireless charger and get nearly the same speeds as you'd get from the wall, but without any wires. In the past wireless charging was so slow that it was more of a convenience than anything.

With Fast Wireless Charging the Note 8 fully recharges in around 120 minutes. Between these charging methods, the latest software, and more efficient hardware, battery life shouldn't be much of a concern.
