Powerful Dual Cameras on the Back

The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung's first smartphone with two cameras on the back. A trend we've seen adopted by Apple, LG, Motorola, Huawei, OnePlus and others. Featuring not just one, but two 12 DualPixel lenses on the back. However, Samsung's has one extremely important feature that puts it above the rest.  is a 12MP f/1.7 aperture lens like you'd find on the Galaxy S8 or S8+, and the other is a 12MP f/2.4 aperture telephoto zoom lens featuring 2x optical zoom. You can also zoom in 10x using digital zoom with the phone's software.

One camera is a 12MP f/1.7 aperture lens like you'd find on the Galaxy S8 or S8+, and the other is a 12MP f/2.4 aperture telephoto zoom lens featuring 2x optical zoom. You can also zoom in 10x using digital zoom with the phone's software.

What this means is you'll enjoy the same class-leading camera experience from the Galaxy S8, but then have a second lens for shooting portraits, or zooming in close on your subjects. It offers all the same focus controls (before or after you take a photo) like we saw from the iPhone 7 Plus, and then some.

Ready for the exciting part? The Galaxy Note 8 is the first smartphone in the world to have optical image stabilization on both of the rear cameras. This means you'll enjoy the same excellent stabilization even when you zoom in. This is a big deal because when you zoom in every little movement from your hands can quickly ruin a photo or cause it to turn out blurry. Ask any iPhone 7 Plus owner, and they'll know what you mean.

On the front is the same excellent wide-angle 8MP selfie camera. You'll love the Note 8 and it's very capable cameras.
