11 Things You Might Not Know About the iPhone SE
It Made the Cut for AR Apps
Did you know the iPhone SE can take advantage of Augmented Reality apps? ARKit, Apple's Augmented Reality solution, is limited to Apple A9, A10, and A11 processors. The iPhone SE utilizes the A9 chip. Devices like the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s failed to make the cut. If your iPhone SE is running iOS 11, you can take advantage of some nifty Augmented Reality (AR) apps on the App Store. You might already be familiar with Giphy, the app that allows you to send GIFs to your friends. The company recently released GIPHY World: AR GIFs+Stickers which allows you to bring these GIFs into your immediate surroundings and record video to send to friends. IKEA's released an app called IKEA Place. It allows you to visualize furniture in your home. One of our favorites (thus far) is AR MeasureKit which allows you to measure things without having to exert much energy. These are just a few examples and we expect the platform to grow as more developers latch on.
