The only way to get PUBG for free is with an Xbox One X, but there's always a chance we see some deep discounts emerge after the holiday shopping season ends and retailers look to attract new buyers. 

There are PlayerUnknown's Battleground deals out there, but most of them require you to spend money.

For example, Best Buy’s Gamers Club Unlocked PUBG deal is 20% off, but it requires you to pay a $30 membership fee. The Xbox One X deal requires you to pay $400+ for the console. 

If you can't or simply don't want to pay those prices for a game that's currently in beta, you might want to wait a few more weeks to see if the price drops. 

We don't expect a $20 price cut in January, but we could see retailers shave a few dollars off as we push into the new year.
