Earlier this year, Apple released a new version of the iPhone SE. 

The new iPhone SE doesn't share much in common with its predecessor. It looks like an iPhone 8 and it has a larger 4.7-inch display. 

That said, it's one of the best iPhone SE alternatives and it's a device that you should certainly investigate if you're looking for a budget device. 

If you aren't sold on the iPhone SE or iPhone SE 2, you might want to hang around for a little bit and see what Apple's got up its sleeve. 

The company is reportedly working on another iPhone SE model that could debut in the second half of 2021 or sometime in 2022. 

Apple's also hard at work on the iPhone 12 series which will apparently include a 5.4-inch model that could entice those of you looking for something a little more powerful than the iPhone SE or iPhone SE 2. 

So if you're in the market for a new iPhone, but you're wavering, you might want to hang back and wait a few more days for the iPhone 12 launch and for more iPhone SE 3 rumors to emerge.
