5 Reasons to Buy the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass & 3 to Wait
There are some good reasons to buy the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass right now, but there are also some good reasons to wait.
DICE plans to release monthly Battlefield 1 updates and brand new Battlefield 1 DLC for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC in 2018.
The first three Battlefield 1 DLC expansions are out. DICE’s They Shall Not Pass DLC arrived in March and In The Name of the Tsar arrived in September.
Turning Tides, the third Battlefield 1 DLC expansion, is out though DICE split its release into two parts. The second batch of Turning Tides content is set to arrive in early 2018.
A fourth DLC, Apocalypse, is set to arrive in 2018 as well though DICE remains mum about its content and its release for Xbox, PS4, and PC.
There are a few ways to pickup the current, and future, Battlefield 1 DLC. If you don’t already own the game, you can buy them via Battlefield 1 Revolution, a bundle that includes the base game and Premium Pass. Retailers are selling it for $60 or less.
If you already own Battlefield 1 you can buy the DLC expansions a la carte or you can pickup all of the additional content via the game’s $50 season pass.
The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass nets you all four DLC expansions which includes They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse. It also nets you some perks and bonuses.
Is the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass Worth It?
While some of you might be ready to commit more money to the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass right now, others might be better off waiting a few more days or a few more weeks before buying the game’s season pass for Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Some of you might want to pass on the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass.
