Wait for a 5G MacBook Pro

We could see a 5G MacBook Pro in 2020 according to a new rumor from DigiTimes. This is the same timeframe we expect to see a new iPhone with 5G support, so there is some potential here. 

That said, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro don't currently come with cellular connection options. Apple does offer LTE in the Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad. 

Digitimes reports that Apple is working to add 5G support to the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air in 2020. The report claims Apple will use ceramic for the antenna, which could double the 5G speeds and offer better connectivity that other 5G devices.
