If you want to improve your Galaxy Tab's overall performance, consider downloading the Nougat update soon after it lands for your device.

The official Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 change log notes that the Android 7.0 Nougat update will improve the overall performance of the device.

If you've been noticing lag, lockups, freezes, random reboots, or some other performance issue, you might give the update a go.

The change log also notes that the update comes with efficient space for installation of downloaded apps and improved speed of system upgrade and app installation.

So if you've noticed slow install times on your Galaxy Tab, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is certainly worth a look.

The Galaxy Tab Nougat update also delivers Nougat's Device Maintenance mode which gives you more control over your device's battery, storage, and RAM.

You'll find Device Maintenance in your Galaxy Tab's settings. Try out some of the features and figure out a combination that works best for you and your device.

I regret updating to Nougat. SPlanner was much better than the calendar that now comes with Nougat, for starters. Any way to uninstall update?

    Hi.
Anyone knows how to use pop up window option. I only see split screen. I could use the pop up tool with Marshmallow but dont know how to use it in Nougat. Is it still there
