Don't Wait for a Headphone Jack
If you really want a headphone jack with your next phone you should start looking elsewhere.
Companies have begun to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack to make room for other components. Devices like the iPhone XS are completely wireless.
The Galaxy S10 features a 3.5mm headphone jack, but Samsung might eliminate it on the upcoming Galaxy S11.
According to Bloomberg, Samsung had been toying with an S10 prototype without a headphone jack. The prototype didn't make it to market, but the company did remove the headphone jack from the Galaxy Note 10, a sign that changes could be coming to the Galaxy S series.
A rumor from Korean site ETNews states that the company will go with USB-C on the Galaxy S11.
The company seems to be flirting with this change so there's a chance it makes it on next year's Galaxy S design.
If that's a deal-breaker for you, take a long look at the Galaxy S10 and other top Android devices.
