Wait for Better 5G
If you want a Samsung phone and you want 5G data speeds, you might want to skip the Galaxy S10 5G and wait for next year's model.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is widely available in the United States. There are a lot of things to like about Samsung's 5G-enabled Galaxy S10, but there are some great reasons to hold off and wait for the Galaxy S11.
5G coverage is still limited and there's a good chance it isn't available in your area. If it is, there's a good chance it's buggy.
5G is new technology which means it's going to experience growing pains. And now that 5G is live areas, we're hearing all about them.
With that in mind, it might be a good idea to buy another model right now and upgrade to the Galaxy S11 (or Galaxy S10 5G) when coverage has expanded, and carriers/smartphone manufacturers have improved their hardware.
We could also see more competitive pricing. Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G is extremely expensive right now and will likely stay that way through much of 2010.
According to evleaks, the Galaxy S11e and Galaxy S11 will launch in LTE and 5G formats while the larger Galaxy S11+ will be limited to 5G.
