When Apple released the 2018 iPad Pros it also released a new Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro.

If you're unfamiliar, the Apple Smart Keyboard includes two angles which makes it easy to use it while the iPad is sitting on a table or sitting in your lap. 

It also connects the iPad with a Smart Connector. This means there are no wires to deal with and no charging necessary. You just connect the device and start typing. 

The accessory is pretty expensive, it's $179 for the 11-inch model and $199 for the 12.9-inch model but we've really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the iPad mini 5 doesn't come a Smart Keyboard option (it's supposed to be used in your hand rather than as a laptop) which means those of you interested in the accessory must upgrade to the iPad Air or to the iPad Pro line.
