The Galaxy S20 series isn't cheap.

If you don't have a phone in good condition to trade-in and/or you can't find a solid price cut, here are the base price points for Samsung's Galaxy S20 flagships:

  • Galaxy S20 (6.2-inch): $999
  • Galaxy S20+ (6.7-inch): $1,200
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (6.9-inch): $1,399

While it would be nice to see Samsung launch an extremely cheap Galaxy S21, we don't expect that to happen given the Galaxy S series' position in the company's portfolio of devices.

There's chatter about a potential price cut, but the source says this is still under discussion and isn't confirmed yet.

Galaxy Club, a Samsung-centric blog, believes two of the three Galaxy S21 models will be priced lower than their predecessors. Those models are the base Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+.

WinFuture has relayed additional information about the Galaxy S21 series' price points and it looks like they could be a bit less or equal to the Galaxy S20's.

Price cuts or not, the Galaxy S21 series will still be expensive. If you don't have a ton of cash to spend on a phone, you'll probably want to start looking elsewhere.

Fortunately, devices like the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S8 are much cheaper than they once were.
