Rumors suggest that Apple is working on new iPad models. 

According to respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is developing a new 7.9-inch iPad mini (iPad mini 6) and a new iPad Air 4. These models could launch in late 2020 or early 2021. 

We've also heard about 5G-powered iPad Pro models that could launch in the first half of next year with an assortment of upgrades. 

So, if you're planning to buy a new iPad in 2020 or 2021, and you aren't necessarily sold on the iPad Air 3 or the other iPad models in Apple's lineup, you might want to wait for more information to emerge before making a decision.
