You Don’t Need to Install It Right Away

In closing, we want to go over one last tip that a lot of people seem to forget. Just because you have a chance to install Android 9.0 Pie right now doesn't mean you HAVE to install it.

If you're worried about Android Pie problems, app incompatibility with work programs, or anything else for that matter, wait it out a little bit. Wait for others to try the just released version, or even wait for Android 9.0.1 with some small bug fixes.

We can't remember how many times we've seen people rush to install an update on day one, only to complain later that they're having major problems on a work phone.

If you only have one device, if it's a work phone, or if you're not prepared, wait a few days or even a few weeks. The update isn't going anywhere.

Make sure you have over 50% battery life, plenty of storage space, and enough time to properly accept the update and go through some of the changes. Once you do, and you know there aren't any major bugs, go ahead and enjoy everything Android 9.0 Pie has to offer.

We'll update this post with any and all information as Android P continues to arrive for more and more devices.
