Be Prepared for Early Problems

Speaking of problems, you can bet that the update to Android 9.0 Pie will add a few problems itself. Nothing is perfect, and even Google makes mistakes. Not to mention updates from other manufacturers like Samsung just adds to the potential for problems. 

Either way, bugs and problems will slip into the final version of Android 9.0 regardless of what phone you have. We're already seeing complaints today of Pixel Android Pie install issues. We expect to hear the typical complaints about battery drain, app crashes, WiFi or Bluetooth problems, instability and more. It just happens. 

There's a good chance you'll have a great experience with nothing to complain about. However, everyone uses devices differently and you might have an issue someone else doesn't. Which is why it's always a good idea to watch and wait, when an update arrives, rather than rush to get it right away.
