8 Best Galaxy Note 8 Alternatives

Huawei Mate 9

Huawei Mate 9

The Galaxy Note 8 has a really big screen. That's a key selling point that is hard to compete with as most phones aren't that big. However, one that certainly comes close is the Huawei Mate 9.

Released in late 2016 the Huawei Mate 9 has a beautiful 5.9-inch display that looks massive compared to the curved sides of the Galaxy Note 8. You'll actually feel like the phone has a bigger screen. It's made entirely out of metal, has two powerful cameras on the back, 64GB of storage like the Note, and much more. It's pretty close to being a perfect alternative.

One thing to keep in mind is even though there are dual cameras on the back, they don't zoom in like the Galaxy Note 8. Huawei uses the second sensor to capture black and white, called a monochrome sensor. Then combines colors from the regular camera and black and whites for a rich, natural, and contrast-rich photo. One is 20 Megapixels, the other is 12MP like the Note 8.

You'll love the Mate 9 because Amazon Alexa is built-in, and there's a massive 4,000 mAh battery inside too. Promising all-day battery life compared to just 3,300 mAh on the Note 8. And finally, the Mate 9 only costs $479 yet is a premium metal phone. You'll get a lot of bang for your buck.

Thanks for sharing these worthy alternatives, Samsung Note 8 is the best device with awesome features but highly overpriced. I’m waiting for 12 September, iPhone 8 release date.
