If this happens, you will likely see people talking about it on Twitter, and making jokes. There’s no specific Facebook status page to check, but if Facebook is down for everyone you will see it mentioned on other social media and on the news.

How to Stop Seeing Posts From Someone

If someone you know posts too often or posts things you don’t like to see, you can unfollow them, without unfriending them.

This is easy to do, and no one will know that you’ve unfollowed them. It’s a drama free way to stop seeing pictures, political posts and annoying updates from someone without the hassles of unfriending them.

1. Search for them on Facebook.
2. Click on the Following Box.
3. Click on Unfollow [name].

Now you can enjoy Facebook without seeing that annoying coworker’s political posts.

How to Stop Seeing Posts from a Page

Facebook is a little better about not showing you annoying pages that promote blantant false news, but they aren’t perfect. In fact sometimes you know that anything from a source will be trash.

When someone shares something you don’t want to see, you can block that source easily.

1. Click on the three little dots in the upper right of the posts.
2. Click on Hide All from [Page Name].

Once this is done, you will no longer see anything from this page. You can also click on Newsfeed Preferences to start fixing other issues.

How to See Important Friends First

A major Facebook problem is not seeing the posts from the friends you actually care about and want to see.

You can can set up Facebook to show you specific posts first. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Search for them on Facebook.
2. Click on Following.
3. Click on See First.

This will put everything from this person at the top of your timeline. You can also do this for pages and businesses.

How to Fix Facebook Login Problems

If you can’t login to Facebook it could be a problem with Facebook, or it might just be an issues that you can solve. Sometimes you might see Facebook error 2, or cannot sign in error.

If this happens, the first thing to try is signing into Facebook on another device. That will let you know if it is a problem with your app, that device or with your password.

If you can sign in on another device, try restarting the problem device.

When you cannot sign in on any device you need to reset your password. To do this

1. Go to the main Facebook page and click on Forgot Account.
2. Enter your email or phone number and then click on search.
3. Facebook will show a list of accounts.
4. Click on This is My Account next to the account that is yours.
5. Choose how to get your password sent to you.

When you get an email or a text, click the link and enter the code. This should get you back into Facebook.

How To Fix Facebook Privacy Problems

Recently Facebook messed up and showed private posts as public. They’ve fixed the issue, but you still need to double check your post privacy from time to time.

When you are about to post something, click on the small globe icon that will say Public, Friends or another group listing and choose the new group or people you want to be able to see the status.

How to Fix Facebook Ad Problems

If you keep seeing annoying and misleading ads on Facebook, you can tell them about it, and over time see more useful ads or at least less annoying ads.

1. Click on the three little dots in the upper right of the ads.
2. Click on Hide Ad.
3. Choose a Reason you don’t want to see it.

If an ad is particularly bad, you can report the ad, which will let Facebook know that it’s not a good ad for a specific reason.

You can’t turn off all the Facebook ads, but you can at least see more relevant ads.

How to Fix Facebook Battery Life Problems on iPhone & Android

It’s no secret that the Facebook app can drain the battery life on your iPhone or Android. You can get better battery life by changing some settings.

• Turn off Background App Refresh for Facebook on iPhone.
• Turn off Video Autoplay.
• Uninstall Facebook and re-install.

These won’t fix every Facebook battery drain problem, but it is a good start and can help you get better overall battery life.

How to Stop Facebook Autoplay Video Sound

You cannot completely disable auto play video, but you can make sure you don’t hear sound when videos auto play.

You tap to swing the bat when it is lined up in the center of the arc to get a perfect hit. Each hit earns you points that you can spend towards strength, speed, bounciness and offline earnings.  I love that I can keep coming back to this game when I have a few minutes to kill and after a few turns I can increase my stats and go a little further the next time.
