New iPad Pro

The 2018 iPad Pro could incorporate a lot of the best iPhone X features and offer a tempting choice to consumers.

Rumors indicate the new iPad Pro will feature a screen similar to the iPhone X with slim bezels and TrueDepth support according to BloomBerg, but no OLED. This could help deliver a bigger screen in the same size or a smaller overall iPad Pro with the same screen size.

The home button and Touch ID would be gone, in favor of Face ID. One challenge is FaceID only works in portrait mode on the iPhone X, and the iPad is often used in landscape mode.

Expect to see the 2018 iPad Pro announced alongside the new iPhones in September.
