Gamers need shooters and sports titles, two things that recent Nintendo systems have not managed to deliver a lot of. Having FIFA 18 on the way pushes the Nintendo Switch in the right direction. It has long been a best-selling title because of its always up-to-date player roster and solid simulation. FIFA 18 has Ultimate Team and Local Seasons and a full Career Mode. Players can't split the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons to play on a single console, but they can play other people that have a Nintendo Switch and a copy of the game without internet access.
