The Samsung Experience 9.0 UI update in Android Oreo is set to bring some impressive changes to the Galaxy Note 8's stock keyboard. Even if you use a third-party keyboard like SwiftKey, you should take note of these improvements.

Perhaps the most exciting changes on board Samsung's Oreo update are the new and redesigned emoji characters. If you use emoji when you talk to friends and family you're going to love them.

If you still aren't familiar with the new emojis coming on board Android Oreo, you can get a good look at them right here

So that's at the Google level. Samsung's also made some changes of its own.

Android 8.0 Oreo's keyboard toolbar gives you quick access to your most important functions. The GIF keyboard also now lets you send GIFs via Samsung's keyboard. It also includes new high-contrast keyboards that could be easier on your eyes.

You might not be a huge fan of the stock keyboard right now, but Samsung's made some eye-catching improvements in Oreo that could potentially lure you in.

After reading the article, I can’t see a single reason to update to Oreo. My phone works too good to screw it up over a bunch of cosmetics and gimmicks. I don’t think a typical Note 8 user cares what Emojis are included, or what colors you can make the screen. We buy Note phones because they have real functionality you cannot get with any other phone.
