If Samsung does roll Oreo out to the Galaxy S6, we don't expect it to port over the full Samsung Experience 9.0 UI. That said, if an update does take place, we'd expect the company to bring over most of the base level Android Oreo features from Google.

The company's Galaxy S8 Android Oreo update includes features Google Nexus and Pixel users got back in 2017. We expect Samsung to include most of these features in its Oreo updates for Galaxy devices.

Google's changes include Notification dots, Notification snoozing, Autofill, Adaptive Icons, improved copy and paste, and the emoji characters we told you about earlier.

These are exciting changes and all of them have the potential to make your life with the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge a little easier.
