New Samsung Keyboard

New Samsung Keyboard

We expect most (if not all) of the changes Samsung's made to its stock keyboard to carry over to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

Samsung's making some necessary improvements to its stock keyboard in Android Oreo.

Android Oreo includes new and redesigned emoji characters. If you use emoji when you talk to friends and family you'll like the new additions. They look much better than the yellow blobs from Nougat.

If you still aren't familiar with the Android Oreo's new emoji characters, you can get a good look at them right here. That's not all.

A toolbar gives you quick access to your most important functions, the GIF keyboard now lets you send GIFs via Samsung's keyboard, and Samsung's also included some new high-contrast keyboards that could be easier on your eyes.

These changes might not convert longtime users of keyboards like SwiftKey, but those of you who do use the stock keyboard will be thrilled with these upgrades should they come to the Galaxy S7.
