If you're a Samsung Cloud user you should feel excited about some of the upgrades the company is making to the service in Android Oreo. 

Assuming everything from the beta holds, the Galaxy S8 Android Oreo update should deliver several improvements to Samsung's cloud solution. They include:

• View and manage photos and notes stored only in Samsung Cloud.
• Store any type of file in Samsung Cloud Drive.
• Select specific items to delete or restore from backup data.
• View the size of all your backups and see how many items they contain.

Samsung Cloud will stop backing up third-party app data starting in February, but these additions should help to offset that change.
