The Samsung Galaxy S8 will get a robust version of Android 8.0 Oreo, but it could instantly be overshadowed by the company's incoming flagship. The company is reportedly planning its Galaxy S9 launch for late February with a release date rumored for the month of March. Samsung's new flagships are expected to come with an assortment of hardware upgrades and we expect the company to make tweaks to Android 8.0 Oreo and its Samsung Experience UI. There's even a chance the flagships come with software based on Google's Android 8.1 update. We expect Samsung to bring some of the Galaxy S9's software features to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, but that could take months. If we're lucky, developers will port some of the Galaxy S9's best software features over to the Galaxy S8. If they do, it will require some additional work on your part. | ||||||||||
